Благодаря этим способам я умудряюсь работать параллельно в 3-х программах на простом ноутбуке. Например, After Effects, Premiere Pro и Photoshop. И у меня ничего не зависает.

After Effects Project Settings
While using After Effects, navigate to File and then Project Settings. Make sure that the Video Rendering and Effects option is set to Mercury GPU Acceleration (CUDA).
This will allow After Effects to make use of your graphics card to process video and audio.
Update After Effects
Make sure that your After Effects application is up to date. Close After Effects and open up your Creative Cloud application. Here, under Updates, click on Update, in case there is an update available to you. This should only take a few minutes to complete.
Update Graphics Card Driver
Make sure that your graphics card driver is up to date. NVIDIA graphics cards can utilize the GeForce Experience application. Click here to download the application to your system. When the download is completed, open up the application, and in the Drivers tab select Download. This will download and install the latest GPU update and should only take a few minutes to complete.
Update Operating System
To optimize your system for performance, you should make sure that your operating system is up to date. Simply search for Update in your taskbar search. In your Check for updates system settings window, make sure to download the latest update and make sure to restart your PC after that the download is completed. This will in any case help you with performance issues.
Delete Temporary Files
Your harddrive might be cluttered with unwanted files. These files will induce lag if not removed properly. You can delete your temporary files manually, or you can use PC cleanup programs, such as CCleaner. These applications are usually the best choice as it will automatically keep your hard-drive clean for you. To manually delete your temporary files, enter %temp% in your taskbar search and hit enter.
A new folder will open up in which you should delete everything.
In some cases, this can take a couple of minutes if you haven’t done this before. Some files will most likely stay in your temp folder, as these are still in use by your programs. In order to completely delete these files, you should also make sure to empty your recycle bin.
Reinstall Adobe After Effects
As a last resort, I suggest uninstalling After Effects and reinstall it, preferably on another drive. In your Creative Cloud application, under All Apps, click on this menu for After Effects and select Uninstall. After a minute or two, you will have the option to reinstall it.
How can we improve After Effects?
Just updated to AE 2020, and I can’t Preview video on timeline anymore. When I scrub playhead I can see the animation, but when I hit Play, I’m getting just static frame (timeline even fully cached). There is also «Display Acceleration Disabled» alert in the corner of the Comp. Could you fix this issue asap?

Same on a very full featured Mac Pro (96gB RAM, Radeon Pro Vega II).
In GeForce Experience, go to reinstall driver, select custom installation, and then check clean install. This will remove current then reinstall the driver. After doing this 442.92 Studio works properly and Fast Draft is back, and my 1080 has memory again. sheesh!
Jeesh Adobe, seems like you should fix this issue. I’m having the same issue running a TitanRTX, latest AfterFX and 442.92 Studio Driver
I can confirm that Game Ready Driver 445.87 has fixed the problem for me too.
I had the same problem with AE 2020. I used Nvidia Experience to change the driver from Studio Driver to Game Ready Driver. That seems to fix the problem.
As Mark said. I just updated my studio drivers and now my AE is broken. That’s a big issue because I need this last version of the drivers to run Octane render 2020. Please update!

Adobe posted an announcement, one of several scrolling announcements, titled «FAQ: How to fix ‘Display Acceleration Disabled’ in After Effects,» at (https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/bd-p/after-effects?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=all). In it, they say Nvidia driver 442.92 seems to be the issue. I have confirmed this for my situation. That driver, or later, not only causes the Display Acceleration Disabled message, but locks AE if you attempt playback using the space bar, such that you have to force-close AE to get it to stop or even to respond to anything at all. Furthermore: 1) if you go into AE Preferences / Display, «Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels» is both unchecked and greyed out. 2) If you go into Previews / GPU Information, Fast Draft gives «Not Available (incompatible device or old graphics driver)» and the Texture Memory is set to 0 MB and is greyed out. If you uninstall that Nvidia driver version and then reinstall an older version (I went two versions back, to 441.28, to be safe), everything works as it should and is back to normal, including points (1) and (2) above. NOTE: Since the 442.92 (or later) drivers do NOT cause problems in the latest version of Premiere Pro, I would say the issue is more with AE than with Nvidia, and Adobe should fix it.

I can confirm that Game Ready Driver 445.87 has fixed the problem for me too.
