Question
I have a problem when I’m trying to instal the network driver.
I receive two errors: «The realtek network controller was not found if deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable» and
«Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are present on this computer».

I’d check the manufacturer chipset has been installed. The chipset allows the operating system to find and use devices integrated into the mother board. You’ve asked in windows server forums. I’d suggest asking experts here in dedicated forums for more assistance.

If you only need one Ethernet port, the Intel® Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter works well as an entry-level server adapter.

i got the error message; » cannot install drivers. no intel(R) adapters are present in this computer».

pls help me out here. i need the correct driver, or what can i possibly do to overcome this issue?
Thanks Buddy, You saved my Plenty of time works like charm.
it works. Thanks For your Helping Hands..
I know this is an old post, but just thought I would comment in case anyone else was having this same issue. Although technically the Intel 82579V gigabit network adapter is not compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2, you can still get it working. Go into the device manager, right click the network adapter, and click update driver. Select «Browse my computer for driver software», then click «Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.» Select «Network Adapters» from the list, then click next. Choose Intel from the Manufacturer drop down list, and select «Intel(R) 82580 Gigabit Network Connection» from the network adapters list. Click next and the driver should successfully install. The 82580 driver works for the 82579V NIC without any problems at all. I have been using it for quite a while without any issues. Good luck!
Spent hours of trying to install official Intel drivers for Windows Sever 2016, nothing worked, I was ready to throw the server out of a window but then I found this post!
Selecting 82580 did the trick! Thanks so much Ryan.
